When I first saw this product, it reminded me of the Bio-Essence Hydra Tri-Action Mask, which was quite popular a few years ago. Mainly it was because both products have an exciting dew-creating gimmick. Technically, when you apply either of the two products, water droplets are supposed to create on the surface of your skin, though it doesn’t always happen.
The ingredients list of this toner-cream isn’t long, but it contains enough elements to satisfy your skin. The formula includes water and seawater from Gangwon-do, which is supposed to be mineral-rich. It also includes moisturising ingredients such as glycerine, hyaluronic acid, and betaine. For the antioxidant action, niacinamide and sea buckthorn extract were added. Sea buckthorn is rich in vitamins C, E, and a few from the B group as well as many other antioxidants.
The product would have been perfect for all skin types if Cosrx hadn’t added bergamot oil to the formula, which can irritate some people. It smells nice, it reminds me of Earl Grey tea, but it’s completely unnecessary.
As for the use, the product is wonderful – it applies easily, absorbs quickly, and hydrates well. I was using this cream a lot during this past summer, even on its own as I found it hydrating enough during hot days. On days when I needed more hydration, I applied a hydrating serum beforehand. I don’t think it does anything else than hydrating the skin, but niacinamide and sea buckthorn extract are great additions. I never complain about antioxidants in my skincare products.
The product is light-weight and has a gel consistency; it’s great for any season besides harsh, cold winters. CosRx say that it can be used as an all-in-one product, and I agree with that. It’s suitable for all skin types and ages, but people with dry skin may need a bit more than just the cream and people with sensitive skin must remember that the product includes bergamot oil.
Honestly, if you are looking for a simple, gel hydrator or you don’t want to bother with a multi-step routine, go for this Toner To Cream product. It comes in a whopping size of 130ml for €21, which seems to be a pretty good deal.

While you’re here, I want to ask all of you a favour. I am petitioning for a ban on sunbeds in the EU; the Petitions Committee approved my petition last Friday, and it’s now available to supporters. I would love it if you could support my petition on the EU’s petitions website – here. Unfortunately, you have to register on the EU’s petitions website – I know it’s a dealbreaker for many people, so it’s ok if you don’t want to. Also, you don’t have to be an EU citizen/resident to register. If you have any questions regarding my petition or the registration process, please do not hesitate to ask; you can contact me via email, Instagram, and Weibo. I really appreciate any help you can provide.
