This sunscreen is terrific, I’ve enjoyed using it, but it doesn’t work for my skin type.
This product offers very high protection of SPF 50+ and PA++++(4). The formula includes emollient ingredients as the base, as it’s a stick-type sunscreen and a mix of titanium dioxide with chemical UV filters. There is a bit of fragrance, a very mild and pleasant scent. The product features a unique technology, the Micro-Filter System, that filters out PM2.5 particles, so if you live in a polluted area, this product may be worth checking out.
I like this product a lot, it offers excellent sun protection, and it’s easy to use. Even though I couldn’t measure it before applying, I think five swipes per each zone is enough to provide sufficient coverage. I mean five swipes on the forehead, nose, chin, and each cheek. This sunscreen has an emollient base, and it never really dries down, but at the same time, it isn’t too greasy on the face; my sunglasses have never slid off my face while wearing it. This sunscreen is almost invisible on the skin for the first three applications, then you get a bit of whitish cast and shininess on your face, though it still looks acceptable; and that’s the finish with generous applications. It is effortless to use; I’ve never had issues applying this sunscreen or reaching the corners of my nose, eyes etc. It is also simple to reapply while wearing a face mask – you just pop it out and swipe around.
Despite my fondness for this product, it has clogged my pores. Pore-clogging is the main reason why I don’t reach for sunscreen sticks. They have a lot of emollients, as the sunscreens need to stay firm but at the same time easily spreadable. Thus waxy and greasy ingredients are the best for the job, but not the best for my skin type. This product is suitable for all skin types, but if you have oily or acne-prone skin, then you may not appreciate it very much. Even though this product had broken me out in my T-zone, I continued using it, because of the ease of use. Last but not least, I wouldn’t recommend using it as a base for heavy makeup, there are far too many emollients in this sunscreen to keep makeup in place, but some BB cream (iron oxides) for protection from visible light is advisable.
This product is fantastic if you look for a sunscreen that is easy to apply on the go. If you’re looking for a sunscreen stick, then this is a great option to consider. It’s fine to use by all skin types, and the finish is cosmetically elegant; however, people with oily and acne-prone skins should take into consideration that it can cause breakouts.
